Mastermind to Grow Rich

Posted on September 16th, 2010 by Mike

These past few weeks I have been busy working on a project that I have been keeping a bit of a secret. But now I am ready to reveal what I have been working on… I have been hard at working putting together a great new book called, Mastermind to Grow Rich and today I’m asking for a little bit of help.

Mastermind to Grow Rich will cover the benefits and power of the mastermind experience. It will explore case studies, real-life breakthroughs, and examples.
In it, I will also describe how my participation in mastermind experiences has created incredible breakthroughs in my ability to help others, my income and my business, including the creation and launch of CopyDoodles® in 2007.

I know many entrepreneurs have similar stories and testimony about the power of the mastermind.

Do you have a great success story that you think should be told? Send me some of your best mastermind experiences and I might just interview you for the book!

If you’ve never been able to take part in the greatness of a mastermind experience (where you can get invaluable feedback and insights for your business in order to create a potential multi-million dollar idea), or even if you have been to a part of a mastermind experience in the past, you’re in luck.

Not only do you have the chance to attend one with me in 2 weeks on July 30th, but if you attend, you will also be fortunate enough to receive the very 1st draft of my Mastermind to Grow Rich book.

If you’re looking for an attention-grabbing direct mail piece. One that is tried and proven to work, look no further than the famous Wallet-Mailer created by my friend and Elite Experience Mastermind Member, Nina Hershberger.

The wallet mailer is a unique envelope that stands out from all the other mail in your mailbox and practically begs to be opened. I’ve used it both in my own business and for my private clients with success and can personally vouch for it!

My CopyTemplate of the Month allows you to personalize and customize your Wallet-Mailers right on your very own printer. Included in this CopyTemplate is:

Example cover letter you can “borrow”
Templates for printing on the Wallet-Mailer
Template for printing on Nina’s money bills (range from $20 – $500)
A huge swipe file containing a ton of examples to generate your own ideas on how to use this novel direct mail format

You’ll notice on many of these examples that Nina uses CopyDoodles® extensively to add even more personality to the Wallet-Mailers. Nina even created a special CopyDoodles “money edition” that can be easily used with the Wallet-Mailer. The Money Edition can be found within the CopyBoosters.com member site.

I just received an unexpected fax from Dan Kennedy who wanted to know if I was interested in rewriting the chapter on “graphic enhancements” in his classic book, The Ultimate Sales Letter.

My fax back was short and to the point… HELL YEAH!!!

I own the very first edition (1990) of The Ultimate Sales Letter and it was the book that introduced me to Dan Kennedy and his powerful marketing strategies. To be asked personally by Dan to contribute to the 2011 edition of this book is an honor and shows how important Dan considers the topic of “copy cosmetics.”

As a matter of fact, back in May, I was the guest of Dan at his Business of Copywriting Academy where I discussed the topic of copy cosmetics and the critical relationship between HOW your copy looks and the response it gets.

Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in the study of copy cosmetic techniques and strategies. One of these techniques includes the use of handwritten margin notes and doodles, which triggered the idea for CopyDoodles® first for my own client work and most recently for thousands of business owners around the world.

Copy cosmetics are an often overlooked, but critically important topic for any direct response marketer or copywriter. Their proper use allows you to create attention-grabbing marketing that is easy (and fun) to read and makes an emotional connection with the reader. Plus they set you apart from the 97% of marketers who don’t use them.

Why Newsletters Are So Darn Effective – Part IV

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by Mike

by: Jim Palmer, The Newsletter Guru (GKIC-Philly Chapter Member)

So many people ask me if they would be wise to save the printing and postage costs of their newsletters and instead send their customers e-mail newsletters. My answer is typically very short–no. While various types of e-mail marketing can be effective and enhance your printed newsletter, they are in no way a replacement. Printed newsletters have many proven benefits that you simply cannot achieve through e-mail. Printed newsletters are convenient and portable (your customers can read them at home, while traveling, in their easy chair, or in the tub!). Printed newsletters are easy to read and make notes on, and they can be

Why Newsletters Are So Darn Effective – Part III

Posted on February 11th, 2010 by Mike

by: Jim Palmer, The Newsletter Guru (GKIC-Philly Chapter Member)

The two questions people most often ask me are: What do I put in my company newsletter? and How often should I publish? Many companies want to write about what they do, they products they sell, and their latest success story. If written correctly, some of this type of content is okay, and it presents yet another chance to reinforce your reputation as an expert in your industry. However, it is vitally important that your newsletter not be perceived as another sales piece or simply marketing material. Your newsletter should also be light, fun, and interesting to read–so your clients will
